Tales of the Northern March
This oak rainforest is named for the carpet of ferns, mosses, and lichens that blanket its wet interior. It is home to numerous small villages of wood elves and forest gnomes who live in relative peace, trading with the dwarfs of Deephaven, the aaracokra of the Monadh Laith, and the halflings of Willow Heath and Longfinger Loch. In addition, a small community of hill dwarf charcoal burners live near the entrance of Deephaven. They are viewed warily by the other residents, though the elves have helped them to log in a responsible manner.
